Course overview of the university
Our department offers degree programs in physics, geophysics and meteorology and climate physics.
The "Vorlesungsverzeichnis" is a complete list of all courses (lectures, exercises, practical, seminars) of the actual and the last terms. It contains detailed information.
The ECTS credits are calculated according to the following rules: (whps = weekly hours per semester)
- lecture whps × 1 + exercises whps × 2 for the Bachelor's degree programs
- lecture whps × 2 + exercises whps × 2 for the Master's degree programs
Detailed information about the degree programs of the different subject (physics, meteorology and climate physics, geophysics) are given in the module handbooks.
Our master's degree programs are in English language, the bachelor's degree programs are taught in German.
The academic year is divided into two semesters: winter (October 1st to March 31st) and summer (April 1st to September 30th).
